Visiting

We’re just visiting here, we human beings. We’re the Creator’s guests.
And so we are – guests in the Creator’s creation.
And so we are – guests in our Horse’s world.
God first made the horse. Then he made man.
In His image.
He breathed life into both horse and human.
He gave life to the stars and life to the rain.
He gave the rain to give life to the earth.
And all that is within it.
His world is His kingdom and all that is within it.
Who are we to abuse our welcome?
Who are we to mindlessly discard the gift of hospitality.
From God, Himself?
If your earthly father were to give you a treasure
For which you coveted for years and years
Would you so blithely misuse and abuse it
as we human beings have destroyed this earth
and each other?
Our Heavenly Father has given us The Horse.
We are but guests upon his back.
Just as we are but guests upon this earth.
God made man in His image.
His perfect image.
Yet we live in this world.
Are we truly of this world?
No, not if we’ve accepted Him … our Host.
Our Father’s Son.
We sit at His table.
We live on His Earth.
We are stewards of His creation.
We are but guests in this world.
We are but a guest upon the back of The Horse.
